Mit dem bürgerlichen Zerfall ist natürlich nicht jene reaktionäre o tempora, o mores-Klage gemeint, die überall Verfall von Anstand und Moral wittert: „Die Jugend taugt nichts. Früher war alles besser. Da hielt der Gentleman der Oma noch die Tür auf und der Herr half der Dame aus der Bluse etc. pp.“ Hier geht es um den Zerfall zentraler bürgerlicher Errungenschaften wie offene Gesellschaft, Demokratie, Staat. Wesentliche Fortschritts-Errungenschaften auf einem möglichen Weg in eine freie Gesellschaft, ohne die Unterdrückung des Menschen durch den Menschen. Von dieser Utopie, in Fachkreisen auch Sozialismus genannt, sind wir entfernter denn je. Aktuell geht es um den Schutz bürgerlicher Errungenschaften vor der Barbarei.
Wir wissen nicht, in welcher Phase der geschichtlichen Entwicklung wir jetzt, 2024/25, sind, wie man diesen Moment, diesen Umbruch benennen soll. Das kann man erst mit zeitlicher Distanz einordnen. Dass die 70er das Goldene Zeitalter des Kapitalismus für sehr viele Beteiligte waren, wusste man erst um die Jahrtausendwende einzuschätzen, nachdem die Achtziger bleierne Jahre der Stagnation waren und die Neunziger den Global-Totalsieg des Neoliberalismus einläuteten. Der ab der Jahrtausendwende in das Krisen-Zeitalter überging. Bei dem wir nicht absehen können, wohin die Reise geht. Genaueres entnehmen Sie, liebe Leserinnen, bitte diesem Blog ab 2040. Dann können wir den Zwanzigern ein Etikett aufkleben. Ob es wieder die „Goldenen Zwanziger“ werden, da hab ich so meine Zweifel…
Ich will eine mögliche Einschätzung, Bewertung bürgerlichen Zerfalls anhand der Parameter Gesellschaft, Demokratie, Staat an einem geschichtlichen Rückblick verdeutlichen.
In den Zwanzigern des vorigen Jahrhunderts war unsere Gesellschaft geprägt vom Trauma des Ersten Weltkriegs. Millionen körperlich und psychisch deformierter Männer – und Frauen – bewegten sich vollkommen unaufgearbeitet in einer Welt von Hyperinflation, Rezession, Massenarbeitslosigkeit, Spaltung, Antisemitismus. Es gab auch nennenswerte bürgerliche Elemente einer Weimarer Republik und linke, radikale Bewegungen. Aber die hatten keine Chance. In Folge der Weltwirtschaftskrise Ende der Zwanziger zerfiel die Gesellschaft, bei Wahlen gab es Bürgerkriegsähnliche Unruhen mit Dutzenden Toten. Die bürgerliche Gesellschaft wählte, um zu überleben, als Konfliktlösungsmaschine den Faschismus als Regierungsform. Das erwies sich als tödlicher Irrtum. Nach dem demokratischen Sieg der Nazis und ihrer Verbündeten bei den letzten freien Wahlen beseitigten diese als erstes die Demokratie auch auf formaler Ebene mit dem Ermächtigungsgesetz vom 23.03.1933, dem alle bürgerlichen Parteien zustimmten. Formal wurde hier die Einheit von NSDAP und Staat dekretiert.
Reste eines bürgerlichen Staates, als Gesamtheit der Institutionen und Organe, waren allerdings nicht sofort komplett gleichgeschaltet. So wie es in der Gesellschaft, Bevölkerung etwas – viel zu wenig – Widerstand gab, siehe „Rote Kapelle“ , gab es auch vereinzelt in Kreisen der Verwaltung, bei Verbänden, Polizei, Reichswehr, Justiz, Bildungssystem, Kirchen etc. noch Reste eines Insistierens auf Eigenständigkeit und Unabhängigkeit. Mit der Radikalisierung der Nazigewalt nach innen als Folge der Pogrome von 1938 und des beginnenden Rasse- und Vernichtungskrieges ab 1939 zerfielen auch die Reste der Hülle des Staates. Gesellschaft, Demokratie und Staat waren vollständig im Terror des Faschismus aufgegangen.
Alles olle Kamellen? Wie man’s nimmt. Man könnte ja zum Beispiel auch als Linker insofern aus dieser Geschichte lernen, dass es aktuell darum geht im Zeitalter der Wiederkehr von Faschismus und Antisemitismus, in einer Zeit der Verrohung und des Verfalls der Gesellschaft, den Niedergang der Demokratie zu bremsen durch eine Stärkung des bürgerlichen Staates, als letzte Brandmauer vor der Barbarei.
Dass auf die Gesellschaft kein Verlass ist, sehen wir unter anderem im Vorhof zur Hölle, in der Ostzone.
Die formale Demokratie lässt sich aushebeln, auf dem Verfahrensweg mit der Geschäftsordnung, siehe hier .
Was bleibt, ist Staat. Ist mit dem Staat zu machen? Hm.
An der Freien Universität in Berlin gab es immer wieder antisemitische Proteste. Nun entscheidet sich die Hochschulleitung gegen eine Ausstellung, die Gewalt gegen Juden zeigt. Begründung: Man befürchtet intensive Debatten. Das heißt in Berlin: Antisemitischer Terror gegen die Ausstellung von Seiten einer antiimperialistischen Pseudolinken und eines Neuköllner Migranto-Mobs.
Wenn der Staat an dieser Stelle, in seiner Hauptstadt, im Kultur- und Wissenschaftsbereich einknickt, halte ich das für ein Desaster. So geht die Demokratie vor die Hunde, Schritt für Schritt
Die Freiheit von Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kunst ist unter allen ! Umständen zu gewährleisten. Auch mit robusten Mitteln. Dann muss man da eben eine Hundertschaft Bereitschaftspolizei aufmarschieren lassen und …..
