Diesen multispeziezistischen Unfug konnte frau noch schmunzelnd als schwer neben der Kappe abkanzeln (heute: off-canceln). Aber leider ist es von Esoterik zu Antisemitismus nur ein winzig kleiner Schritt und den tat folgerichtig ihre Nachfolgerin. Die letzte Documenta versank in einem nicht enden wollenden Antisemitismus Sumpf . Ein Skandal, der die verantwortliche Ministerin Claudia Roth als gruselige Fehlbesetzung decouvrierte, die Stadt Kassel bis auf die Knochen blamierte und den latenten Antisemitismus in der Kunstszene, im Juste Milieu des kulturaffinen Bürgertums und der angrenzenden Pseudo-Linken als das kenntlich machte, was er auch in Deutschland nach 80 Jahren noch ist: Lebendig. Und bereit, jederzeit die Meinungsherrschaft zu übernehmen. Bevor dann die richtigen Nazi-Profiteure die restliche Herrschaft übernehmen.
Ich hoffe, die neue Documenta-Leiterin bewegt sich in diesem verminten Terrain, ohne dass auch die nächste Ausgabe der Gesellschaft um die Ohren fliegt. Bin da aber skeptisch. Der derzeitige kulturelle Diskurs ist geprägt von Dekolonisation, Diversität und Identitätspolitik und diese Bereiche und ihre Protagonistinnen sind bis auf wenige Ausnahmen bis ins Mark antisemitisch angefault.
Bitter für mich als jemanden, der sich als Teil einer unabhängigen, radikalen, kulturaffinen Linken und des Kunstbetriebs verortet. Aber ein Blick in die reale Welt außerhalb des Betriebs zeigt: Das ist ein lächerliches Luxus-Wehwehchen und auch kein wirklicher Verlust. Früher war jede Documenta ein Hochamt für mich, heute gibt ein wacher Gang durch die Berliner Atelier-, Galerie- und Museumsszene wesentlich präziser und aktueller Auskunft über den derzeitigen Stand der zeitgenössischen internationalen Kunstproduktion.
Eine gute Predigt sollte immer und gerade zum Fest der Liebe versöhnlich enden und so soll hier zur Ehrenrettung der Schwestern auf das Schicksal von Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven hingewiesen werden, eine radikale Dada-Künstlerin und Zeitgenossin von Duchamp. Möglicherweise war sie, und nicht er, Schöpferin von „Fountain“, dem einflussreichsten Werk der modernen Kunst.
