Für uns gibt es nur eins: Make IG Metall great again!
Bei aller Kritik an der IG Metall: In der Sache gilt unbedingte Solidarität. Bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, wo die Organisation dem Druck der immer rechter werdenden Basis und damit auch der Betriebsräte nachgibt. Und das wird sie irgendwann, denn ohne ihre Betriebsräte ist jede Gewerkschaft nichts. Das wird das Ende meiner Mitgliedschaft. Und wenn ich dabei auf die goldene Ehrennadel zu 50 Jahren Mitgliedschaft verzichten muss, samt Jubilarfeier mit Blaskapelle und Mettbrötchen.
Also war ich auch beim Aktionstag dabei, erfreute mich am Schwatz mit früheren Kolleg*innen, Betriebsräten, agitierte die Massen, siehe oben, genoss die Sonne und das warme Gefühl von Solidarität. Solidarität als ethische Kategorie von Verbundenheit in einem Kollektiv hat nicht nur eine eminent politische Dimension, sondern auch eine transzendente. Solidarität hat eine intellektuelle Komponente, sie erwächst auch aus Erkenntnis und Einsicht in die Verbesserungswürdigkeit dieser Welt. Aber sie hat auch eine emotionale, die aus dem Gefühl von Ungerechtigkeit, aus gemeinsamem Handeln erwächst, im Praktizieren von gemeinsamen Ritualen wie 1. Mai-Feiern, Demos, Arbeiterlieder singen, Bier saufen. Einen letzten, entscheidenden Rest von Solidarität kann man nicht lernen, er erwächst und produziert jenes schwer zu bezeichnende Gefühl von notwendiger Wärme in kalten Zeiten.
Nicht umsonst gibt es diesen altlinken Spruch, auf Comandante Che bezogen: Solidarität ist die Zärtlichkeit der Völker.
Da – und hier stellt sich dann doch sofort der Intellekt bei mir wieder ein, das Diesseits der Transzendenz – sträuben sich natürlich sofort die Nackenhaare. Von Völker zu völkisch ist es nur ein kleiner Schritt.
Ich aber habe ein bisschen Abbitte zu leisten von meiner Kritik des Veranstaltungsortes des IGM-Aktionstages. Aus logistischen Gründen blieb da nicht viel anderes übrig. Hannover war der Aktionsort für den ganzen Norden und so kamen zig Busse von überall her, die ortsnah geparkt werden und zeitnah wieder abfahren müssen, ganz zu schweigen von den ganzen mobilen Dixie-Klos. Und Bierständen. Keine Gewerkschaftsfeier ohne Bier und Bratwurst.
Nach einer Stunde suchte ich das Weite am Samstag. Und fand es auch. Es wurde doch langsam kalt und eine Popkapelle namens Madsen drohte den Park akustisch zu vermüllen. Da gilt für mich als Beton-Kommunist und -Kolumnist immer noch die Devise des Genossen Walter Ulbricht, Erster Sekretär des ZK der SED und Staatsratsvorsitzender, von 1965 bei der Ankündigung des Verbots westlicher Beatmusik auf dem XI. Plenum des ZK der SED:
„Ich denke, Genossen, mit der Monotonie des Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, und wie das alles heißt, ja, sollte man doch Schluss machen.“
