Ich hätte also niemals gedacht, dass ich Worten des großen Kabinett-Vorsitzenden jemals spontan und aus tiefem Herzen zustimmen würde, zumal sie jedem Anschein nach ehrlich gemeint waren.

Auf den Punkt und zur intellektuellen Handreichung für all jene, die mit der irren Idee hausieren gehen, die Hamas, die Hisbollah (gibt es auch die grammatische Form „Herbollah“?), den Iran auf gleicher Ebene zu betrachten wie Israel. Mit Formulierungen wie „Beide Seiten müssen …“ und „Sowohl Israel wie auch der Iran oder die Hamas …“ .
Diese Äquidistanz den Beteiligten gegenüber ist eine ethische Bankrotterklärung. Einen, mit allen Mängeln und verachtenswerten Akteuren wie Netanjahu behafteten, demokratischen Staat ins gleiche Regal zu räumen wie faschistische Terrorbanden ist mit Dummheit allein nicht zu erklären. Da steckt wahnhaftes Ressentiment dahinter, vulgo Antisemitismus.
Erstaunlich (und erfreulich) finde ich in diesem Zusammenhang, dass dieser Blog sich wachsender Beliebtheit erfreut und das trotz meiner uneingeschränkten Solidarität mit dem Staat Israel und den Juden in aller Welt, was auch und gerade innerhalb der Restlinken eine deutliche Minderposition ist. Mittlerweile sind hier monatlich über 100.000 Besucher*innen unterwegs. Danke dafür und allen einen sonnigen und entspannten Tag.
Und demnächst wird wieder ungehemmt und uneingeschränkt auf alle Knechte des Großkapitals eingeprügelt. Verbal.
