Abschied vom Spätsommer, Straßencafé draußen sitzen ist erst mal nicht mehr. Also steuerte ich spontan nach einem anstrengenden Tag eine Outdoor location im Nachbarviertel an, zwecks Zelebrierung des Abschieds von der diesbezüglichen Saison, und gönnte mir eine Mahlzeit, die jeden Veganer das Grausen lehrt. Im Mittelpunkt ein Schweinefilet im Speckmantel, das Filet à la point rosa gebraten, zart wie das Streicheln einer Pfauenfeder, der Speckmantel exakt an die Kross-Grenze gebraten, wo das knackige Braun ins knirschende Dunkel wechselt, dazu Bratkartoffeln mit einer Rosmarin Kopfnote, ach, was soll das Geschwalle, es war einfach knattergeil, und da Essen der Sex des Alters ist, stöhnte ich am Ende des Mahls, nach einem wundervollen zitronig-milden Tanqueray Gin (natürlich ohne Eis!!) wohlig vor mich hin. 10 Sekunden lang spürte ich dem Genuss in mir nach. Dann merkte ich zu meinem Entsetzen, dass ich die Gespräche an beiden Nachbartischen verstehen konnte. Eigentlich bin ich schwerhörig, was oft anstrengend, aber mitunter auch segensreich ist. Wenn man den Sprachmüll anderer Leute nicht hören muss zum Beispiel. Im akuten Fall kriegte ich sofort auf beiden Kanälen mit, dass es links um Projekte und Fördermittel ging und rechts, horribile dictu, um Beziehungsprobleme. Beides Themen, mit denen ich absolut nicht beim Essensgenuss, und, wenn es geht, überhaupt nicht und nirgendwo konfrontiert werden möchte. Soviel Gin konnte ich gar nicht verklappen, um das Elend zu ertragen und Tanqueray genießt man, damit gibt man sich nicht die Kante. Fluchend suchte ich das Weite und kriegte ein paar Häuser weiter den nächsten Leberhaken.

Linke Lektüre hat keine Konjunktur mehr, außer wenn mal wieder was von Negri oder so rauskommt. Ich bin mittlerweile eher für linke Praxis zuständig, Veränderung durch Kunst und so Zeug.
