2016 war ein annus horribilis, ein schreckliches Jahr, jedenfalls was das Aufscheinen von Zerfallstendenzen am Horizont der Geschichte angeht. Real war die Kacke noch nicht wirklich am Dampfen. Annus horribilis heißt „schreckliches Jahr“ und welch drollige Bedeutungsverschiebung sich auf Grund des Auslassens von einem Buchstaben ergeben kann, sieht man daran, wenn aus dem „Annus“ ein „Anus“ wird. Anus horribilis ist aber, wie ich finde, ein zauberhaftes Schimpfwort, es vereint Bildung, Wohlklang, Rhythmik und Abscheu in einer soignierten Ausgewogenheit.
Außerdem versteht es keine Sau. Es kommt in Sitzungen, Veranstaltungen, etc. vor, dass ich bei irgendeinem Schwallkopf (fast immer männlich) denke: „Was’n Arschloch.“ Ich könnte hinterher gefahrlos zu dem Betreffenden hingehen und sagen: „Heda, guter Mann, mich dünkt, Sie sind ein veritables anus horribilis.“ Das würde ich aber vorab von einem Fachkundigen mit großem Latrinum auf korrekte Deklamation prüfen lassen.

Wir werden dieses beschissene 2016 vermutlich noch vermissen.
Persönlich bin ich allerdings bester Dinge, ich gehe unter anderem davon aus, dass 2017 mir noch jede Menge zauberhafter Berlin Reisen beschert und dass ich endlich im Lotto gewinne. Und ich werde noch spontaner werden.
Das lernt einen auch was. Neulich bin ich einfach spontan, ohne Anlass durch ein angrenzendes Stadtviertel geradelt. Dabei habe ich das Foto oben von Continental gemacht. Und direkt daneben einen Neubau entdeckt:
Hafven. Sieht man von dem Zeitgeistwort ab, das in drei Jahren keinen Heinz mehr von der Apfelsinenkiste kegelt, kein schlechtes Bauwerk. Zuhause checkte ich, was da so abgeht. Mir schwirrte der Schädel, es geht da irgendwie um People, Co Working, Community, Education, Edutainment und dass nicht nur verschiedene, sondern sogar verschiedenste Desks frei wählbar sind.
So sieht also die Zukunft der Arbeit aus, während sich die Reifenbäckerei Continental im Hintergrund in der untergehenden Sonne verabschiedet. Wenn Sie mich fragen: Das ist platter Symbolismus. Aber eingängig. Im Hafven kann man übrigens auch Sägen. Das heißt dann: Wood Basics. Für mich als Arbeiter der Stirn kann ich im Fall „Wood Basics“ nur sagen:
Das kann ja Eiter werden.
