HAZ, 26.09.1991, zum Kommunalwahlkampf.
Die Partei SCHUPPEN 68 war mit Abstand die erste Satirepartei, die je zu einer Wahl in der BRD antrat. Die Berliner Schwesterpartei KPD/RZ (Kreuzberger Patriotische Demokraten/Realistisches Zentrum ) folgte vier Jahre später, sie war auf Grund ihrer Massenbasis erheblich erfolgreicher. Mein Statement in der HAZ klingt unprofessionell, wobei ich keine Ahnung mehr an das Interview habe und ob meine Aussagen von der HAZ so massenkompatibel zurechtgefeilt wurden. Es klingt eben nicht nach einer Satirepartei, deren einzige ernsthafte Forderung „Freibier und Erbsensuppe“ war, sondern nach irgendwas Normalem, nur mit Spaß. Wenn man so ein Projekt angeht, muss man es konsequent durchziehen, also eben nicht sich auf die Ebene der klassischen Parteien einlassen. Lehrjahre halt, es gab ja keinerlei Vorbilder oder Masterfolien.
Radikal war allerdings unser Wahlkampf. Wir klebten Plakate mit meinem Arsch drauf und dem Claim: Wir haben die besseren Köpfe. Der Ansatz ist auch nach 35 Jahren nicht veraltet. Die im Artikel angesprochenen Inhalte sind natürlich dummes Zeug und Zeitgeist bedingt. Was geht mich dieser alternative Spießer-Stadtteil hier an und dass ich mich zum Sprachrohr des reaktionären Kleingewerbes gemacht habe, war schon damals eher peinlich.
Soweit der Blick in den Rückspiegel. Interessant ist in diesem Zusammenhang die Frage, wie „man“, respektiv die einzelnen Fraktionen der Zivilgesellschaft, mit Epoche-Umbrüchen umgeht. 1991 war gerade der „Eiserne Vorhang“ gefallen, der reale Sozialismus in Osteuropa kollabiert, der reale Kapitalismus hatte keine Systemkonkurrenz mehr zu fürchten, die radikale Linke im Westen implodierte in die Bedeutungslosigkeit und der Neoliberalismus trat seinen erbarmungslosen globalen Siegeszug an, mit all den Krisenfolgen, die wir als Quittung jetzt präsentiert kriegen. Inklusive des Niedergangs der Demokratien westlicher Prägung, von denen es weltweit vielleicht noch zwei, drei dreckige Dutzend gibt.
1991, zum Wahlantritt des SCHUPPEN 68, lag es zum Greifen in der gesellschaftlichen Luft: Der Spaß war vorbei. Also musste der Humor her, in seiner Sonderform der Satire. Zumindest galt das für die fortschrittlichen Avantgarde-Elemente der Gesellschaft, die sich weigerten, als opportunistisch-politische Renegaten das dreckige Geschäft des ehemaligen Klassenfeindes als Kollaborateure mit zu besorgen. Hier sei an eine der ekligsten politischen Existenzen der Postmoderne erinnert, an Joseph Fischer.
Man kann gerne über die Sinnhaftigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit satirischer Interventionen diskutieren, man muss aber analytisch sauber vorgehen und deren Existenz soziologisch in die Entwicklung der Zeitgeschichte einordnen. Und sich dann die Frage stellen: Was ist die adäquate Reaktionsform auf den aktuellen Epochen-Umbruch, das Verschwinden der Demokratie westlicher Prägung? Die Frage ist noch unbeantwortet. Richtig ist vielmehr, dass Berlin sich für die EXPO 2035 bewerben will . Jenseits des üblichen Blablabla auf der Projekt-Homepage wird das, wenn es klappt, eine riesengroße, bunte, schrille, monatelange Party in ganz Berlin – wo jetzt schon immer Party ist. Ab Morgen fange ich an, mich dafür fit zu halten und zu machen.
