SCHUPPEN 68 Performance „Ihmezentrum raus aus Linden“ (Wochenblatt 02/2009). Das Ihmezentrum ist eine Grosswohnanlage in Hannover und nach bisherigem Stand der öffentlichen Diskussion muss das Ihmezentrum im Besonderen und das Prinzip „Grosswohnanlage“ grundsätzlich als gescheitert angesehen werden. Ich habe das bis vor ein paar Jahren ähnlich gesehen und dazu auch mehrere Performances und öffentliche Interventionen gemacht. Für die ich von Bewohnerinnen des Ihmezentrums Shitstorms im Netz erntete, als der Begriff noch weitgehend unbekannt war. Heute wird Shitstorm für jeden öffentlich diskutierten Furz verwendet, inflationärer Internetdurchfall.
Dass die Bewohnerinnen das nicht so lustig und distanziert sahen, ist völlig verständlich, strebte doch der Wiederverkaufswert ihrer Eigentumswohnungen, und damit ein Teil ihrer Altersvorsorge, tendenziell gegen Null auf Grund des Rufes des Ihmezentrums, der noch hinter dem des Südsudans angesiedelt sein dürfte.
Da die verheerende Wohnungsmarktsituation gerade in Grossstädten seit Jahren dramatische Konsequenzen für die ohnehin skandalöse Entwicklung der Armut in unserer Gesellschaft hat, habe ich meine Meinung, was Grosswohnsiedlungen angeht, geändert. Die Zahl der Wohnungslosen wird in den nächsten Jahren um bis zu 50 Prozent zunehmen, sie liegt derzeit schon bei 800.000. In so einer Situation auf ästhetische Befindlichkeiten des zumeist in Eigenheimen im Speckgürteln wohnenden Ex-alternativen Großbürgertums zu nehmen „Huch, das sieht aber scheusslich aus!“ ist unangemessen. Weder können wir zur Lösung der Wohnungsnot komplett unsere Restflächen versiegeln mit kleinteiligen dreigeschossigen Häuschen etc., noch können wir grenzenlos leerstehenden Fabrikraum umnutzen in Wohnungen, von solchen skurrilen Lösungen ganz zu schweigen, wie 95jährige Beamtenwitwen zu animieren, in ihre 100 qm Wohnungen Studierende und Migranten im WG Modell einzuquartieren. Eher kriegen wir den Sozialismus in der Ostzone wieder auf die Beine.
Wir kommen als eine Variante um eine Revitalisierung der Grosswohnanlagen nicht herum. Ich gucke mir seit Jahren aus diesem Erkenntnisinteresse andere Grossanlagen als das Ihmezentrum an, das hab ich ja direkt vor der Nase.
Berlin, Schlangenbader Str. (die „Schlange“), eine der größten öffentlich zugänglichen Grosswohnanlagen in Europa, wie das Ihmezentrum auch aus den Siebzigern. Ich machte mit einem SCHUPPEN 68 Kollegen dort unlängst eine intensive Begehung und unser einhelliges Urteil: Gelungen.
Nach allem, was man prima facie sagen kann. Der Komplex beherbergt anders als das Ihmezentrum mehrere Restaurants und Kneipen, ein kleines Einkaufszentrum, Beratungsstellen, Bildungseinrichtungen und im Zentrum eine sehr hübsche großflächige Grünanlage. Die Schlange befindet sich im Kerngebiet von Berlin, also nicht an den Rand gedrängt, und ist in direkter Nachbarschaft zum gut situierten „Rheingauer Viertel“, wo es auch mal höherpreisige französische Restaurants gibt. Ich weiß natürlich nicht, ob es da soziale Durchmischungen gibt. Und ich würde auch lieber im Rheingau Viertel wohnen, allein deshalb, weil es da ein Weinfest gibt, das bis Oktober jeden Tag ab 15 Uhr geöffnet hat. Aber wenn wir so weiter machen wie bisher, machen wir nicht mehr lange so weiter wie bisher. (Toller Satz. Lass ich mir patentieren).
Schön an dem obigen Zeitungsartikel finde ich meinen nur dezent ironisch verbrämten Größenwahn, der dem der geschilderten Wohnanlage ähnelt. Zum Vortrag kommen Werke von Trakl, Hölderlin und … Gleitze. Gut, dass viele Mitbürgerinnen Trakl und Hölderlin eher für Mitglieder der deutschen WM-Auswahl halten…
